Kibler Park resident wins Mrs Commonwealth SA 2016

The 2015 crowning gala of Miss Teen, Miss, Mrs and Mr Commonwealth South Africa took place at the Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City on September 12.

KIBLER PARK – Commonwealth Pageant South Africa aims to empower woman with a platform to bring sustainable change and to become ambassadors within South Africa and the broader International community.

Janine Kamaar, a local resident in Kibler Park, walked away with two crowns on the evening, winning Mrs Charity for raising the most amount of money for charity, as well as the headline title of Mrs Commonwealth for 2015/2016.

Janine is currently the Transformation Manager at McKinsey & Company and holds a B.Com Honours degree from UCT. She has many achievements under her belt including being selected as an exchange student to go to Italy in 1999, attended global managerial courses (Thailand and London) and has received numerous Transformation Awards within McKinsey & Company, one of which was the Top Empowered Socio-Economic Development Award for the initiatives she was involved in within the Education and Health sector.

Janine has been married for the past eight years and has two sons. She is passionate about job creation and skills development of the youth of South Africa. She has been involved in numerous community projects and charity initiatives.
