Jehovah’s Witnesses welcomed thousands to their 2015 ‘Imitate Jesus!’ convention

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Jehovah’s Witnesses started their annual series of conventions with two multi-language conventions at the Johannesburg Expo Centre.

Over two weekends 51 794 delegates from across the Gauteng province attended the sessions presented in English, French, Portuguese, Sesotho, Tsonga and isiZulu.

Mulbarton resident, Kenneth Dias, a convention spokesman said, “All who accepted our invitation to join us at the convention received a warm welcome and were happy that they took the time to attend. The ‘Imitate Jesus!’ conventions provided three days of fascinating presentations on Jesus’ dynamic teachings, which were designed to help people of all ages and circumstances”.

Jehovah’s Witnesses are organising 52 conventions in 16 languages in 20 cities and towns across South Africa.
