UCPA needs your help

The UCPA was established in 1951 and has been taking care of children with cerebral palsy ever since.

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – The United Cerebral Palsy Association (UCPA), in Townsview, is in desperate need of groceries, toiletries and clothing.

The UCPA was established in 1951 and has been taking care of children with cerebral palsy ever since. Many of the children are orphaned, while others are abandoned and some have been referred by the Department of Health and Welfare.

The organisation needs: Omo washing powder, sunflower oil, sugar, peanut butter, maize meal, Rondo margarine, tuna fish, jungle oats, jelly (assorted flavours), corned meat, Weetbix, Nola mayonnaise, Milo, macaroni, Colgate toothpaste and shampoo, Shield roll-on for girls and boys and Protex soap.

Staff members are also looking for tracksuits, slippers, winter and summer PJs, towels, face cloths, disposable nappies, toothbrushes, pillows, fitted sheets, pillow cases and comforters (three quarter). Larger items include: e: Donut Cushions for the floors, heavy duty washing machines, heavy duty tumble driers, two flat screen TVs for the hostel, catering pots, double door fridges, large chest freezer and melamine plates, bowls and cups.
