UCPA in need of groceries and goods

The United Cerebral Palsy Association in Townsview, is desperately in need of groceries, toiletries and clothing.

TOWNSVIEW – The UCPA was established in 1951 and has been taking care of children with cerebral palsy ever since. Many of the children are orphaned, while others are abandoned and some have been referred by the Department of Health and Welfare centres.

If you can assist with any of the following items , they will be gratefully received. Omo washing powder, sunflower oil, sugar, peanut butter, maize meal, Rondo margarine, tuna fish, jungle oats, jelly (assorted flavours), corned meat, Weetbix, Nola mayonnaise, Milo and macaroni. As well as, Colgate toothpaste and shampoo, shield roll-on girls, Shield roll-on boys, and Protex soap.

The home has a wish list, and anything on it you would care to buy will be appreciated. Tracksuits, slippers, winter pj’s, summer pj’s, towels and face cloths, disposable nappies, toothbrushes,, pillows, fitted sheets, pillow cases and comforters (three quarter).

Larger items include: Donut cushions for the floors, heavy duty washing machines, heavy duty tumble driers, 2xflat screen TV’s for hostel, catering pots, double door fridges, large chest freezer and melamine plates, bowls and cups.
