Travelling overseas for academic conferences

Inocent Moyo of St Martin's School, has been awarded a PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) by the University of South Africa.

ROSETTENVILLE – His specialist research areas include migration and development, migration and immigration politics, cross border trade, the political economy of reform, regionalism and regional integration in the SADC, transnationalism, borders and borderlands and urban informality and governance.

Inocent’s work demonstrates a deep attachment to critical emancipatory research, which he believes should challenge traditional ways of knowing and attending to the myriad problems which affect humanity today and in the future.

He has also completed a Course on European Borders, with the University of Victoria in Canada. In August he will be travelling to Russia (Moscow) and then the UK (London) for academic conferences.
