Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo to host public meeting

The aims of the meeting are to encourage community participation at the nature reserve and to discuss innovative development solutions.

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – A meeting to discuss the current and future management plans for the Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve will be held at the reserve on Monday, July 27.

Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo invites interested stakeholders, organisations and structured groups to attend this meeting to discuss the current and future engagement plans for the Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve.

As the custodians and managers of public open spaces, Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo hopes the meeting will encourage active community participation in finding innovative solutions to further develop the nature reserve. The engagement of the broader community in the management of the Klipriversberg Nature Reserve will enhance the ecology and visitor experience at this landmark.
