Successful prize giving for bowlers

On Saturday June 27 at Southern Suburbs Bowling Club, the 36th Southern Suburbs Cavaliers bowling tournament prize giving was held.

Ray van Niekerk and his team were winners of the tournament. Charmaine Brown from Pam Golding (sponsor), with Les Howard, Dennis Wessels, Ros Webber, Ray van Niekerk and Apie Groenewald.

LINMEYER – First prize went to Ray van Niekerk and his team, 2nd prize to Suburbs Sports and 3rd prize to Electro City.

Runners-up Suburbs Sports. Jannie Stoltz, Charmaine Brown, Debra Ferguson, Ros Webber, Sebbi Sardinha, André Maulgue and Cyril Bois. Absent: Brian Adams (skip).

Winner of the Plate event was Pam Golding, with runner-up Brackenhurst Bowling Club.

Third prize went to Electro City. Louis Klopper, Ros Webber, Gavin Erasmus, Jono Franks, Billy Cunningham and Charmaine Brown.

Chairlady of Southern Suburbs Cavaliers, Ros Webber, handed out the prizes to the winning teams and this was followed by a delicious lunch.
