MULBARTON – The Croeser family, from Mulbarton, were ecstatic when they heard that Kim was the lucky winner of a brand new customised Hyundai i10.
Kim, together with her mom Vicky and son Tyler, received the vehicle on June 20.
“On the day we did our shopping, I took the slip and kissed it, looked at her (mom) and said ‘this is for you’, and now we’ve won this car. Today is actually my birthday,” said Kim.
Although Kim was the lucky winner she decided that her loving mother deserved the vehicle more, because she’s been a pillar of strength for the family.
“There’s a long history between Maggies Spar and ourselves. It’s amazing to get something back from this amazing store,” said an excited Kim. The Croeser’s moved to Mulbarton about 30 years ago and have been shopping at Maggies Spar ever since.
The South won big this year in the Spar Win a Car competition, when Maggies Spar was selected to handover the Hyundai i10 out of all suggested Spars in the country.
The owner of Maggies Spar, Andrew MacDonald, revealed that all Spar stores around the country had a draw and Maggies Spar won the car which they handed over to Kim.
