JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Friday, May 29, is Tekkie Tax Day, and of all the good things you will do in 2015, this is probably going to make the biggest impact.

To zhoosh op you tekkies, buy a fun, bright pair of shoelaces for only R30, or a sticker for R10, from Child Welfare.

A portion of the proceeds will go to Alberton Child Welfare.

Elmarie Kennedy, who has been managing the local branch for the past six years, encourages residents of the South to get involved and make a difference in a child’s life by buying a sticker or shoelaces.

Dress as you like, but wear your tekkies on May 29 to show your support for this worthy cause.
