Four killed in tragic accidents

Two men and two women were killed in separate accidents in the North on Sunday March 15.

JOHANNESBURG – A young man from Glenvista, Sheldon Caetano, was tragically struck and killed while riding his motorcycle on Sunday morning March 15 at around 11:30.

The collision occurred on Beyers Naude Drive, approximately three kilometres from the N14 Krugersdorp Highway.

This tragic incident was witnessed by several eyewitnesses and according to a report on Facebook, four of them, two women and two men left the scene and shortly after were involved in an unrelated accident in Midrand, on Old Pretoria Main Road.

Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene, where the remains of a motor vehicle were found.

The motor vehicle after the accident which claimed the lives of three young people.

James Frame, Nicola Holing and Maggie Szabo all died at the scene. The driver of the vehicle, Jeremy Smith, sustained moderate injuries and after receiving treatment was taken to hospital for further treatment.

Exact details surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events are still unclear and will remain the subject of a police investigation. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
