GLENANDA – The woman who lives in the house was working in the garden when the incident happened. They told her it was a robbery and forced her into the house where her husband was and locked them both inside a bedroom.
The suspects took two TV’s, a cellphone and R3 500 cash which they loaded into the victim’s car, a white VW Polo sedan, registration RLZ 029 GP and drove off.
The victim activated the tracker on her car and Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) officers spotted the car in White City, Soweto. They shot one suspect and arrested him. The car and a TV were recovered.
The suspect is under police guard in Baragwanath Hospital.
The Value of the stolen goods is R70 000.
