Forty three lightning strikes in the South

According to The Times Newspaper today, Comaro Crossing experienced 43 lightning strikes in 10 minutes.

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Last night, Monday February 16, at about 22:45 a storm blew up over the South of Johannesburg which resulted in the most frightening thunder and lightning.

The storm lasted for about an hour and then returned in the early hours of the morning.

Residents in the immediate area said it was quite terrifying. “It was very scary and we haven’t seen such lightning storms like this in many years,” said one resident.

Another resident said,” My dogs will testify to this, they were beside themselves.”
