EASTCLIFFE – According to Constable Bila, SAPS Communication Officer at Moffatview Police Station, the young man met his girlfriend and while he was chatting to her was stabbed by an unknown man from behind.
The victim’s friend tried to stop the suspect, who was repeatedly stabbing at the 21-year-old.
The victim was rushed to Netcare Mulbarton Hospital for treatment and the suspect is still at large.
It’s believed the victim has been discharged from hospital.
Glenvista Victim Support Unit attended the scene as well as Glenvista CPF patrollers.
The Glen Shopping Centre has been approached for comment and we’ll keep you updated.
