Thornbirds goes all out for St Mary’s
Children and staff from St Mary’s Children’s Home enjoyed a Christmas lunch courtesy of Thornbirds Conference and Wedding Centre on Tuesday December 23.
EIKENHOF – Not only was a delicious lunch served but each child received a sweet gift packet from Thornbirds and a Christmas present from sponsors.
“Having this treat just before Christmas is really special,” said Sonja Harmse, director of the home.
“A huge thanks to the owners of Thornbirds for inviting us for a Christmas meal as well as all the sponsors who gave so generously to the children. The tables were decorated so beautifully and the whole room was just full of Christmas spirit,” Sonja added.
