MONDEOR – On Tuesday January 6, the 2014 matric results were announced and learners arrived at the school from 08:30 onwards, eager to receive their matric results and certificates.
Mondeor High had a pass average of 96.3% with 307 matric learners and 181 gaining bachelor passes.
Two learners each achieved six distinctions, one five, and four with four distinctions.
“It’s was a challenging year but we have managed to overcome the challenges to a lesser or larger degree and we are ready to take on 2015 with more wisdom and a deeper burning enthusiasm,” said principal, Mrs V Nicoloau.
Each matriculant received a burger, chips and a cold drink courtesy of McDonald’s Columbine Avenue, ice cream sponsored by Ridgeway Gardens and a gift each sponsored by past learner Aikterini Christofides, from The Favourites.
As learners congratulated or sympathised with each other on their matric results, it was very clear that they are ready to face new challenges as they begin the next stage of their lives.
