ECD celebrate a year of achievements
The Early Childhood Development Forum (Southern District) held its annual year end function on Saturday November 15 at Thornbirds Conference Centre, Eikenhof.
EIKENHOF – Samantha Retief (ECD Forum Southern District chair), thanked Thornbirds for hosting the event, and all the principals and stakeholders for their input during the year.
She welcomed Vanessa Mentor from the ECD Institute Gauteng Department of Education and asked her to say a few words to the guests. “I am in awe of good early childhood development and I don’t think there are many callings which are more honourable than that of a teacher,” she said.
The afternoon was enjoyed by all who attended and a delicious lunch was served after the speeches.
