Sonja Harmse, director of St Mary’s Children’s Home, asks you to be “an angel” and buy an angel.
OAKDENE – Angelic angels can be purchased for a donation of R50 upwards, which will enable the children of St Mary’s Children’s Home to have a new outfit of clothing to wear for Christmas.
“My wish for the children is that they each have a new outfit to wear for Christmas this year. All through the year they wear mainly hand-me-downs, which we are extremely grateful for, but it will be wonderful for them to have new clothes for this special time of the year,” she said.
The angel can be hung on your Christmas tree year after year and will always be a reminder of how you lit up a child’s Christmas and made a wish come true.
The angels are available to purchase at The Glen Shopping Centre’s Customer Care Desk next to the escalators on the first floor.
