Car Seats for Kids campaign brings joy

Car Seats for Kids campaign continues to be a resounding success.

JOHANNESBURG – Shopping malls in Johannesburg such as The Glen have participated in the 94.7 Car Seats for Kids campaign hosted in partnership with Imperial Drive.

The Breakfast Xpress reported on November 3, that on Saturday November 1 “hundreds of deserving parents queued up at the Breakfast Xpress #947CarSeats for kids with Imperial Drive through to collect a much needed car seat”.

On October 10 car seats, prams and a rocking horse were donated by generous South residents at the Car Seat Drive held at The Glen Shopping Mall.

Recently hundreds of deserving parents queued up at the Breakfast Xpress #947CarSeats for Kids with Imperial Drive Thru to collect a much-needed car seat.

The car seats are cleaned and given a safety clearance before being handed over to the people who have children and need the seats.

Posted on their Facebook page, the Breakfast Xpress said: “Over the last month, hundreds of car seats were donated by caring Gautengers in the #947CarSeats drive. Two hundred of the donated car seats were cleaned, refurbished and safety checked and distributed at Brightwater Commons in Randburg.

“To all of those who collected car seats, and to those who came out to support and meet the team, thank you for giving the gift of safety in this year’s Breakfast Xpress Car Seats for Kids Campaign with Imperial. If you still have a car seat to donate, visit Wheel Well at Brightwater Commons.”
