Possible water shortages

 Joburg Water would like to thank residents that have continued to use water sparingly in the past three days resulting in a steady recovery of water supply daily.

JOHANNESBURG – Johannesburg Water, the City of Johannesburg’s water and sanitation service provider would like to inform residents fed by water reservoirs towers below of the good recovery rate of the storage facilities resulting in residents starting to get water supply.

The other towers and reservoirs that were previously affected but are now normalizing again include:

Honeydew Reservoir – Honeydew, Laser Park, Harveston, Ambot and surrounding areas

Crown Garden Tower – Crown Garden, Winchesterhills, Meredale and surrounding areas

Linden Reservoir &Tower – Linden Ext, Robindale, Klipfontein, Blairgowrie and surrounding areas

Brixton Reservoir &Tower –Brixton, Crosby, Langlaagte, Mayfair, Braamfontein, Forest Hill, Crownthorn and surrounding areas

Helderkruin – Roodekraans, Wildrow Park and surrounding areas

Parktown- Houghton, Greenhills and surrounding areas

Kensington B- Kensington and surrounding areas

We are however still having low water levels atHursthill reservoir, Alexandra Park, South Hills, Quellerina, Horizon, Waterval and Florida North towers. The suburbs affected by the above reservoirs and towers include Hursthill, Martindale, Wesbury, Mount Clare, Coronationville, Bosmont, Florida, Risana, South Hills, Thulisa park, Malvern, Benrose, Denver, Onderker Park, Discovery, Horizon, Constantia, Kloofendal, Waterval and surrounding areas.
