Stand a chance to win a Culinary Trip to London through The International Hotel School’s Ultimate School Cook Off
Are you in Grade 11 or 12? Do you love cooking? Do you think you have what it takes to be the next great chef?
JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Then why not enter the International Hotel School’s Ultimate School Cook Off competition to find the best school chef and stand a chance to win your share of R300 000 in prizes, including a trip to London.
The competition will be held nationally in September, with the regional finals taking place at the International Hotel School campuses in Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town. The winner of the regional final in each province will win a bursary to study the one year Culinary Arts programme at that campus. The regional winners will then be flown to Durban to compete against each other in the final cook off to be held in October.
The final winner will be awarded the grand prize of a Culinary Trip to London in January 2015, which includes return flights, a three night stay at The Draycott Hotel, dinner at two top London restaurants, a trip to Harrods Food Hall, Fortnum Mason, and the Borough Market, a visit to a renowned chocolatier, a trip on the London Eye as well as a sight-seeing tour. What’s more, the winner will also be taken on a behind the scenes tour through a five star hotel including a tour of their kitchens.
