GLENVISTA – The two suspects are believed to have been operating on foot between Liefde en Vrede and Glenvista ext 4, and were caught on CCTV footage as they exited a complex in Vallot Street.
It’s alleged the same suspects tried to break into a home in Troupant Street, Liefde en Vrede earlier that evening, unsuccessfully.
It’s a known fact suspects target properties which border onto open land and koppies. After the suspects have broken into a home, they wait to be picked up later with the stolen items.
Home owners whose properties border the koppie in Vallot and Laubscher streets are advised to be on alert for this modus operandi.
