JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – The GDE has released the programme for handling of 2015 admissions to schools.
The application period will start on Monday April 7 and close on May 27.
The actual period during which applications may be handed in to the school(s) of your choice spans the period April 15 to May 27.
The challenge for the department is going to be the problem of accommodating all of the children seeking admission to a school.
The schools only collect the applications. It is the district, in central offices, who approves the application and place a child at a school.
Parents must keep in mind there is a numbering system and it is first come first served.
So prepare early!
