GLENVISTA – Apparently the suspect, whose name is known to Mondeor SAPS, but may not be published at this time, tried to break into a house on Vorster Avenue earlier in the morning and other homes on Hythe Road and The Broads, before his arrest by an alert D&D reaction officer.
Glenvista and Mulbarton Community Patrol Forum patrollers were quickly on scene and the suspect was searched and found in recent possession of stolen property and successfully linked to previous break ins on Pietsekop Road, Park Drive, Basson Drive Bassonia and Klapper Road Mulbarton.
The suspect is in custody at Mondeor Police Station and further investigation is underway.
