Stars shine in the South

The Colleen Vivian Studio of Speech and Drama, owned by Collene Vivian, has some shining pupils who have excelled in speech and drama.

LINMEYER – Jessica Breet achieved nine distinctions in matric last year and also excelled in her drama work. She won first place in the grade 10 to 12 section at Alberton eisteddfod, as well as achieving 98 per cent for her senior five exam through the SA College of Speech and Drama. Jessica has received commendation for her superb portrayal of Shakespearian characters from a number of examiners. She has been with Colleen for nine years and has achieved honours in all her grade exams, and is now working towards a performing and teaching diploma in drama.

Celeste Rajool, grade 11 this year, came second overall in grade 10 to 12 section of Alberton eisteddfod last year and also achieved a high honours mark for grade three exam through the SA College of Speech and Drama. She has attended drama classes since grade 1.

Jenna Palm came third in the grade three to five section in the Alberton eisteddfod and also achieved honours in the Junior B exam with SA College of Speech and Drama and Amy Weinerlein was an item winner in both prose and public speaking grade six and she excelled in the junior C examination through SA College of Speech and Drama.

Let’s not forget the young men, and Tristen Paul, grade nine, has been with Colleen for three years, excelling in speech and drama and received honours at the eisteddfod.
