Men who robbed children caught

Successful arrest of suspects who tried to victimise and rob school children.

The prompt response by a Mondeor SAPS patrol vehicle led to the successful arrest of three men who had just minutes before robbed two school children.

A photo of the three suspects aged between 17 and 21 was released to the media after the incident that took place on February 13 on Lark Street, Meredale.

According to officers, their patrol vehicle was flagged down by the two complainants and they informed the police of what had just transpired moments before.

The officers gave chase to the suspects and they managed to catch them at Southgate mall. It was the clear description of the suspects given by the school children that assisted officers in finding the men, who are now detained at Mondeor Police Station.
