Dangerous collision in Southern Klipriviersberg Road
Head on collision leaves drivers injured and in hospital.
STEELEDALE – A life threatening collision between two vehicles on November 25 resulted on the corner of Southern Klipriviersberg Road and Steele Street in Steeldale, resulted in a Nissan 1400 and a Hyundai Atos getting heavily damaged after they collided partially head on.
ER24 responded swiftly to the call and JMPD were also at the scene of the accident.
Reportedly, the driver of the Nissan 1400 is said to have sustained injuries to his lower back as well as to his right leg and had to be rescued out of the vehicle. ER24 paramedics transported the driver to Union hospital in Alberton.
The driver of the Hyundai Atos reportedly also sustained minor injuries and was also transported to the same hospital as the other accident victim.
The cause of the collision is unknown but JMPD have an ongoing investigation.
