IT was fun and games for a good cause at Waterstone College on November 2, when learners, their educators, parents and other supporters gathered for the school’s fundraiser.
Although many enjoyed having fun in the sun, pupils in all school Grades pushed themselves to the limit as they competed in the go-kart races where each class was sponsored with T-shirts by various companies.
With names such as The Untouchables, Are you going to beat us… not, Retief Rebels, Zulu Zoomers, The Fast & the Furious Fives, Fantastic4, We’ve got the power and Mighty Marshmallows to name a few, it was clear that these learners meant business.
A number of marquees were set up on the field offering a variety of refreshments, food, sweet treats and other goodies.
The Fantastic 4, Grade four team came out tops and won themselves stationery packs from PNA.
