Cotlands nominated for prestigious social innovation award

Semifinalists are further assessed on an eight minute visual presentation to showcase the achievements of the programme.

TURFFONTEIN: Cotlands is proud to announce that they are semifinalists in the Impumelelo social innovation awards.

This prestigious award recognises social innovation led by public service, civil society, the private sector and interest groups.

Cotlands is honoured to have been short-listed for its efforts in improving the lives of vulnerable children through its innovative early learning and toy library programmes.

“It is a privilege for us to be counted among some of the best social innovators in the country. Our hope is that this acknowledgement of our efforts will shine a light on the importance of early learning in our country,” said Cotlands CEO Jackie Schoeman.

Entrants are assessed on the innovativeness, effectiveness and sustainability of their project, on the impact it has on reducing poverty, and on its reliability.
