AN attempted robbery in Joan Street, Glenanda on Thursday August 22 at about 11:45 resulted in one suspect being caught and arrested.
“I wasn’t at home at the time and one of my neighbours saw three young men removing slabs from the prefabricated wall surrounding our property. The neighbour informed another neighbour, who is an SAP member, and he, together with Hercules Security, gave chase after the three young suspects,” said the homeowner.
“Thanks to everyone concerned. It’s great to know one can rely on neighbours if you are not at home. I dread to think what would have happened had my neighbour not seen what was happening,” she concluded.
