Delicious food was served with luscious wines complimenting the evening. “We hope there will be many more Chilli and Wine Festival’s to come,” enthused Dean Myburgh, marketing The Glen.
Over the long weekend thousands of people visited the Chilli and Wine Festival, sampling delicious food cooked by well-known chefs and students who attend hotel catering schools. Queues formed as wine “connoisseurs ” tasted a selection of different wines, which proved extremely popular.
“This is really fabulous and such a great idea. A much needed event in the South,” one of the visitor’s said. “Could grow to be another big event like Lusito Land,” another added.
All in all the Chilli and Wine Festival was a huge success and already people are looking forward to next year’s event.
