JOHANNESBURG South Garden Club members enjoyed an early festive lunch on November 26 in the Geelhout Room at Klipriviersberg Recreation Centre.
Compère and singer for the celebrations was Joe Viede, who sang all the old favourites as well as some Christmas jingles.
Chairperson of the club Dennis Boddington thanked the caretaker of Klipriviersberg Recreation centre, Elsie Coxen, for all she has done for the garden club this year and Julie Maule from Caxton South for always supporting the garden club and getting all their news out to readers.

Rou Lindsay, a long-standing member of the garden club, was thanked for all his hard work and for judging the tables each month at the garden club meetings.
