WITH Black Friday upon us, the RECORD approached a few community members and asked them if they’ll be brave enough to venture into the busy stores and do some shopping. Here’s what they had to say.

CLIFF VAN DIGGELEN: “There’s no way I’ll be out shopping on Black Friday. The shop where I work will be way too busy that day, and I’ll have to tend to all the customers.”
VICTOR MASINGA: “I can’t go shopping because I will be working. I am a salesman myself and will also be offering good deals on my products to potential customers on Black Friday.”
MARITSA VERPLOEGH: “I went shopping the previous year on Black Friday and I promised myself never again. It’s hectic in the shops, so this year I will only shop online.”
THEMBA TSHANGELA: “Black Friday is only a once-a-year event, so I think it’ll be worth it to do some shopping. People should just ensure they know what they want to buy before going out.”
