Martial Arts students hold their own
Martial Arts students does well at tournament.
FOUR students from the Martial Centre in Winchester Hills did extremely well in the recent South African WUSHU tournament held in Roodepoort.
The club from the South showed their skills at the tournament under the guidance of sifu Mark van den Berg. Students who received medals for their efforts in the various categories are: Mohammad Nabeel (bronze medal for southern bare hand), Kiowa Howes (silver medal for southern bare hand), Debbie Howes (silver medal for southern bare hand) and Warren Chong (bronze medal for southern bare hand, silver medal for sword form and silver for taichi 108 traditional long forms).
