Tragic: Young girl dies in Mulbarton

The parents of the young girl are shaken according to people close to the victim.

MULBARTON – A young girl believed to be 24-years-old died on October 11 in a tragic accident at about 05:00 on True North Road in Mulbarton.

JMPD Spokesperson, Superintendent Wayne Minnaar was contacted for comment although Minnaar was in a meeting and said he would provide detailed information thereafter.

The accident reportedly has left the parents of the young girl shaken according to people close to the victim.

ER24 Spokesperson, Werner Vermaak said, “A woman died after her car collided with a tree on True North Road in Mulbarton, south of Johannesburg. Shortly before 06:00 paramedics arrived on the scene where they found a BMW against a tree on the side of the road. Upon further assessment they found a woman, believed to be 24-years-old, in the driver seat. She had severe injuries and paramedics had to rapidly extricate her from the vehicle. She was rushed off to a nearby hospital where she later died. At this stage it is not clear what caused the collision. Local authorities attended the incident and will conduct an investigation.”
