Ladies treated to day at the races
Women’s Day was made special by Sarah Wissler (Glenvista 5 Residents Association) along with Phumelela, who organised a treat for some of the ladies in the community who go way beyond the call of duty to assist others.
TURFFONTEIN – “A day at the races on Women’s Day seemed the ideal way to thank some of the women in our community who help others and Phumelela organised for us to enjoy a day at Turffontein Racecourse, with a delicious lunch and a chance for us to back our favourite horse,” said Sarah. Ward 124 Councillor Tyrell Meyers accompanied the ladies as their knight in shining armour.
Supreme Limos from Glenvista, organised a courtesy limo there and back to Turffontein Racecourse for the ladies, making sure they arrived and departed in style!
“We had a fabulous time and all the ladies enjoyed a special day being treated,” added Sarah.
