Look at us ride: Equestrian riders at Grace Trinity

Equestrian riders at Grace Trinity showed why they are at the top in the region at their open day display

GRACE Trinity School for Girls, at Rietvlei Farm, held an open day on May 9 where the equestrian team put on a display for the audience.

Although some of the pupils also dabble in other sports, the equestrian team has managed to be the leading school in the Sedibeng Region category which they fall under.

The team consists of riders from different riding schools such as Jods Riding School, Southern Riding Centre, Penbritte Equestrian Centre and Welt Meyers Equestrian Centre.

Parents came to show support at the open day and one of them said: “It’s a tough sport and the girls put in a lot of work. It’s a passionate sport and the girls are very disciplined.”

The youngest rider at Grace Trinity is in Grade Two and the oldest is in Grade 11.
