Early Christmas for Door of Hope

Great Christmas resources for abandoned babies taken into the care of a loving home.

MULBARTON – A group from the Glenvista Sports and Fitness Centre made their presence felt at Door of Hope in Mulbarton, when they came bearing heaps of gifts.

“We brought all this stuff for the babies who really need it. There’s something to eat, something to clothe them, toys, cleaning products and diapers,” said Clarissa of The Glenvista Sports and Fitness Centre.

Their hope was that their resources would be of good use to Door of Hope as much of the resources given would come in handy when taking care of the babies. Residents in Glenvista and other communities where the gyms are located assisted with donations for the home, and the gym itself also contributed.

“These babies were never given a chance from birth,” answered Jade, member of the group, when asked why the Fitness Centre had chosen this particular home to make this worthy donation to.

The group also praised the staff at Door of Hope for the amazing care provided to the babies who are brought there after being found abandoned by their parents and almost near death.
