2015 New Year’s resolutions by readers

Determination: It’s that time of the year again when people start making New Year’s resolutions

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – While some are just recycling resolutions from previous years that weren’t realised, most hope that this new year will be the year they finally stick to their long-term and short-term lists.

Here is what some of our readers had to say about making resolutions and which ones are the most important on their list:

* Refilwe Lekalakala: “My number one new year’s resolution is to get a husband.”

* Tracy Adamson: “Are people even still doing those? Well, I guess I could try and live more and enjoy life as much as I possibly can.”

* Mike Louw: “To live according to God’s will and try to do right things.”

* Chanel Peens: “To live a healthier lifestyle and quit smoking.”

* Boitumelo Mathlaku: “The most important resolution for me is to not make any resolutions for the rest of my life. I don’t ever want to make any, because life is unpredictable, which makes it difficult to stick to them.”
