Celebration at Thanksgiving dinner
On Thursday evening, November 27 a special evening was held at Thaba Eco Hotel with a delicious Thanksgiving dinner being enjoyed by diners and hotel guests.
KLIPRIVIERSBERG NATURE RESERVE – For one couple who were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary, they were especially thankful for a life time together spanning 60 years. “It seems like yesterday we said our wedding vows. Time goes by so quickly when you are having fun,” laughed Maureen and Donald Giddings.
The couple, who were married in the Catholic Church in La Rochelle, lived in the South for many years before going to live in the Cape.
“We’d like to thank all our family for making our diamond anniversary so special. It’s been celebration after celebration and certainly an anniversary filled with the most amazing memories, love and laughter,” they added.
