Launch of ‘Lunartics Events’ in the South

On November 6, with a bright full moon, two of the South’s unique women launched their creative and entertaining enterprise.

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH –  A soiree was held, by invitation only, at the house of artist Severa Rech Cassarino, featuring the original live music of superb chanteuse Nicole Theron, eloquently and professionally backed by piano, strings and drum.

Severa’s career artwork was on display, in its natural habitat as it were, available for open discussion. Examples of their extended artistry were also on view, in the form of custom created, totally organic soaps and creams, and unique jewellery designs.

While enjoying a glass of wine, home-made soup, cheese and fruit, the artists’ productions were experienced at first hand, explained, and some of the history and legacy related to these art forms was explored.  This all took place within the colourful, warm environment provided by that most intriguing alchemist’s lair, the home of that strange and endangered creature: the Artist quietly making magic deep within the suburbs.

Guests expressed delight at the experience, and in the words of one of them, demanded to know “Just when are you holding the next one?”

Both Nicole and Severa operate as full time dedicated artists, with all the pains and joys incumbent.  As communicators and nurturers, they long to share their inner riches with you.  This requires a great deal of mood, as well as a little ‘madness’!  On the strength of that their initiative has been named ‘Lunartics Events ’, and we are told these will cluster closely around ‘moon phases’!

Anyone wishing to attend future events is invited to forward their details to lunarticsevents@gmail.com
