Kaizer Chiefs prepare for big match
Carling Black Label Cup will be played on Saturday at the FNB Stadium.
Kaizer Chiefs have set their sights high for the coming Carling Black Label Cup against their near neighbours, Orlando Pirates.
The match will be played on Saturday at FNB Stadium. The kick-off time is 15:30.
“We are preparing for this game as if it is a big match,” said Head coach at Kaizer Chiefs, Stuart Baxter. “This is a game that we will want to win, but also play good soccer for the spectators. Every game in our books we are serious about.”
The fourth edition of the Carling Black Label Cup will take place between the two Southern-based clubs, and always attracts a lot of attention. The supporters have selected their players for both teams on July 22, and these players will face each other. Two coaches will also be named after the proses have been concluded, and they will step up on the day as the coaches for these two rival teams.
In the meantime, both teams feel that they can win on the day. “We have prepared well, and it is always a spectacular game to be part of. We are all excited to play in the first big match of the day,” said Itumeleng Khune.
