Learners get high on 94.7 Breakfast Show
On Friday morning, 94.7 Highveld Stereo Breakfast Xpress team were at Marist Brothers in Linmeyer, with group Locnville.
LINMEYER – As the learners packed into the hall as early as 06:00 when the show began, excitement mounted as Darren (Whackhead) Simpson announced the pop music duo, Locnville would be appearing!
Screams and laughter kept the vibe going and one of the matric learners, Kendra Szeles, held up a poster she’d made, asking Andrew Chaplin from Locnville, “Please will you be my Matric Dance date”.
“It’s awesome to have 94.7 Xpress team here, it’s made our Friday,” said head girl Savannah van der Mast.
