BULLDOGS, Union Rugby club, started their 2014 season already two weeks ago.
The club will be competing in the Assupol Series from March. After the Assupol, the club will be playing in the Pirates Grand Challenge Competition with sides like UJ, Pukke and Wits that will be playing in the Varsity Cup from February.
Finishing with the Pirates Grand Challenge they will then enter in the Predator Cup. Trials will be on February 8 and 15. The first friendly will be against Springs Rugby Club on February 22 at home. On March 1 and 2 the club will enter a senior and junior side to play in the annual seven a side that will be hosted by Alberton Rugby Club.
On March 8 they will play Silver Valke from Pretoria at home in the Assupol Series. The club is calling on local corporates to purchase advertising boards around the field.
