Ambulance drops off cement

Many lives have been lost due to emergency service vehicles taking too long to get to the destination, now one was spotted dropping of cement.

GLENVISTA – A resident noticed an ambulance dropping off cement at a house in Oudeberg Street, Glenvista a few weeks ago.

According to the resident, it looked as though a house was being renovated and the ambulance used as a delivery truck.

As the resident was passing by taking pictures the driver of the ambulance approached him and asked if everything was in order. The resident just said that he found it funny for an ambulance to be dropping off cement.

The driver responded by saying that he just has the ambulance and it does not operate as an ambulance any longer.

The resident also told the RECORD that the ambulance still had the bed and medical machinery inside.

Shocking, as many people have passed away waiting for ambulances to arrive at emergency scenes. Many times this has made local and national news and now ambulances are dropping off cement!

One would beg to differ between not having enough emergency vehicles or vehicles which are occupied … with what?
