Sundowners hosted a spring family event
Sundowners restaurant host their first kids carnival.
Sundowners restaurant in Alberton hosted a family day event, the Kids Carnival, to bring families together for a day of fun in the sun.
Owners Ryan Donavan and Ryan Labuschagne took over Sundowners five years ago and re-established it as a live music venue, making the restaurant a family-friendly place.
The Kids Carnival was a fun day tailored for children with a taste for adventure, complete with a mechanical bull, bungee jumping, rock climbing, a petting zoo, jumping castles and water slides, to name a few of the activities.
Local food trucks from in and around the area provided different types of delicious food, which outlined the promotion of local businesses.
Ryan Donavan spoke about the success of the Kids Carnival.
“We wanted to do something for children and the carnival sounded brilliant. We laid out the cash in the hope that it would be successful and allow everyone to have safe fun. We also wanted to help showcase local businesses. I think this will become an annual event at Sundowners.”
