Karabo Mokoena visits Angels Baby Sanctuary and Baby Saver
A model, Karbo Mokoena, visited Angels Baby Sanctuary and Baby Saver to offer a helping hand as part of her modelling duties.
Johannesburg south-based model Karabo Mokoena extended her helping hand to a La Rochelle NPO, Angels Baby Sanctuary and Baby Saver.
Karabo donated toys and food to the little children of the local NPO as part of a charity drive for a competition she had entered.
According to the aspiring model, it is one of her greatest passions to give back to the community and ultimately to secure corporate support to bring change to the lives of the disadvantaged.
“It took my breath away to see the beautiful smiles and joy the young ones had on their faces as I was handing over the donations and spending quality time with them. It is important to always give back to the community whenever you get an opportunity. This meant the world to me and I will forever be grateful for that moment,” Karabo said.
Karabo promised that in future she will raise funds from corporations with social responsibility funds as well as potential investors to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and provide them with opportunities to live like any other person.
She aims to become the change she wants to see and make a positive impact on people’s lives.
