Alberton and Bassonia JKA celebrate success at SAJKA National Dan Grading

Karate excellence was on full display at the recent SAJKA National Dan Grading, where Assistant Instructor Taylin Bester attained the prestigious Shodan, while Sensei Rorisang Pule reached the impressive Yondan milestone.

Karateka from the Alberton and Bassonia JKA achieved significant milestones at the recent SAJKA National Dan Grading.

The examinations, held under the guidance of SAJKA chief instructor Johan le Grange, saw notable advancements for two accomplished individuals.

Assistant instructor Taylin Bester demonstrated her prowess and was duly awarded the prestigious Shodan, marking her attainment of the first Dan. This achievement made a significant step forward in her karate career, highlighting her dedication to the discipline.

Sensei Rorisang Pule achieved a remarkable feat by earning his Yondan, denoting the fourth Dan. Rorisang, who also serves as the resident instructor at Wits Karate Club, has exhibited exceptional leadership and expertise in the realm of karate.

Classes catering to all age groups take place from Monday to Thursday, with special Dinky classes tailored for the youngest practitioners aged four to seven years.
