Four suspects arrested in Johannesburg

SAPS appreciates the public for their contribution.

Johannesburg Flying Squad members arrested four suspects for different crimes in Johannesburg and recovered two vehicles from December 2 to 5.

One suspect was arrested for assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, two for possession of precious metals and one for possession of drugs.

Stolen vehicles recovered included a white Nissan NP200 and a grey Citroen. The vehicles were handed over to Aeroton SAP 13.

Johannesburg Flying Squad communication officer Raymond Sambo said investigations continues in all cases and that working together with the community led to these recoveries.

“The SAPS appreciates the public for their contribution. It should also be noted for any information regarding the vehicles one may contact the relevant detective quoting the case number.

“The four suspects appeared at different magistrate’s courts facing charges of assault, possession of suspected stolen property and stolen vehicles,” he said.
