Diversity on Melville Koppies

As the days and nights get colder and the rain peters out, many of the more than 50 types of grasses on Melville Koppies are seeding, as are the two types of clematis.

The wind will disperse their seeds where they will lie low, nestle themselves into the undergrowth and wait for the first rains of spring to give them new life.

Other plants, like the kalanchoe and crassula, are in full bloom while the aloes are just starting to bud for their showing from June. Come and see for yourself.
