Four injured in four-vehicle collision in Walkerville

Four people were injured when four light motor vehicles collided on the R82 near Grasmere Road in Walkerville on March 29.

Russel Meiring, ER24 communications officer, said their paramedics and other services arrived at 06:30 to find the vehicles parked in the middle of the road. Several adults were seen walking around near the cars.

“Medics assessed the patients and found four adults had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.

“The patients were treated and thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further care.

“Authorities were on the scene for further investigations,” he said.
